At the time of the interview, the data reflected in the DS-160 form must be up-to-date.
This document is not updated in cases where:
The information you provided has not changed in any way;
You have not filled out this form before when applying for a visa;
The form was filled out no later than 12 months before the scheduled interview.
It is not possible to make changes to a form that has been submitted. Even if you need to change just one item, the application will have to be created again. To avoid filling out the entire form again, it is possible to transfer the information you entered from the old form to the new one.
After that, go to the "Create a New Application" tab;
The new document form will be automatically filled in from the previous questionnaire;
Now you can make all the necessary changes and reflect the new application number in your personal account.
What should you have with you when going to an interview? For an interview at the embassy, it is not required to provide the DS-160 form itself; you only need to print out the confirmation of the form and the confirmation of the scheduled interview.
