What is required to purchase a bot?

First, you need to create a DS-160 visa application form on the ceac.state.gov website. It is extremely important to fill in all requested data as thoroughly and accurately as possible in this form, including personal information, details about the purpose of the trip, previous trips, etc. Be sure to save your application number after filling it out, as it will be needed when registering in the US consulate appointment system.

The next step is to register a personal account in the US consulate or embassy appointment system. The appointment system depends on the country where you plan to have your interview. When creating your profile, you will need to select the city where you wish to have the interview, enter your passport details, specify your citizenship (where the passport was issued), and your residency type in the country of application. You will also need to include all family members if you are applying as a family. Please note that you cannot add friends or acquaintances to the application — only immediate relatives. A separate DS-160 form must be created for each family member.

After registering with US Travel Docs or AIS, you will need to pre-pay the consular fee through your personal account. Please note that this payment must be made with a foreign bank card. The payment will not appear in your personal account immediately, but after some time (usually within 24 hours), so there is no need to worry. If the payment has not appeared after a few days, contact the technical support of the appointment system.

For appointments through EVisaForms, pre-payment of the consular fee is not required — you can pay it on the day of the interview directly at the consulate.

After filling in all the necessary information and paying the fee, you can proceed with the interview scheduling process. In your personal account, go to the stage where the system indicates that there are currently no available dates and slots for booking.
