How to choose a city that issues the most slots 🤔

In this short article, we will tell you how to use the Visa Cat widget to choose a city where interview slots for the US Embassy are most often issued. Obtaining a US visa today is not such a simple process and can cause difficulties. This often happens due to insufficient information about which cities have available slots for appointments and how often they appear. We have created a widget with slot issuance statistics that will help track dates.
Without authorization in the widget, you can always view the history of slot availability for all cities and countries for past days, including today. But to view full statistics, you need to log in to the widget via Telegram. Upon first login, enter the phone number you use in Telegram. After that, you just need to allow access for the widget — you will receive a system message from Telegram.
To help you immediately understand which country you should pay your consular fee in and which city to attend your interview, we have provided a free 3-day period for all new users across all cities and countries. This will also help determine the date range to set for receiving notifications about open slots or for quick booking via the bot. After activation in the bot, you will see that the “locks” on cities have changed to “stars,” which means you have access to statistics on slot availability for future months in all cities. Now you can compare the number of slots issued by the US Embassy in different countries, the dates of slot issuance, and based on this data, predict likely scenarios for future slot openings. This is the best way to determine your “ideal city” for obtaining a visa.
In the left menu, select the city you are interested in. After that, you can set additional parameters, such as the number of applicants (1, 2, or 3), the time period to display (1, 3, or 6 months), and the type of residency (resident or non-resident, usually only the "non-resident" option is available).
The left part of the widget contains a list of cities, grouped by countries.
By selecting the city you are interested in, you can see more detailed information about the availability of slots on a chosen day or a specific date. For this purpose, there are two graphs in the main part of the widget. The upper chart shows the frequency with which slots were issued in the past. The higher the bar, the more slots the US Embassy issued for appointments on that day.
The main part of the widget presents a graph of the frequency of seat issuance and a calendar
The calendar below the chart displays specific dates that were available for booking. The brightness of the cell in the calendar reflects how long that slot was available for booking.
Display of dates that were visible on a specific day
If you click on a bar in the upper graph, the calendar will display only the dates that were visible on the selected day.
Conversely, if you select a cell in the calendar, orange cells will appear. These cells show the dates when the bot saw the selected date.
Of course, the number of slots also depends on the number of applicants. Therefore, we have provided filtering so that you can see relevant data only for your case.
The more applicants, the fewer available slots
However, there's no need to worry even if you're going to sign up for an interview with another person! Use the widget to periodically check information manually or purchase an automatic notification service for new dates. This way, you definitely won't miss any slots for an appointment.
Ultimately, by comparing issuance statistics in different cities, it will be easier for you to decide where it is best to have your US Embassy interview, and our Visa Cat widget will help you with this.
Use the statistics — find cities where slots appear most frequently to get your interview as quickly as possible.
